Admission for Part Time Evening Classes in ITI
Scheme of part-time evening classes for industrial workers was granted by National Council of Vocational Training, New Delhi (NCVT) and taken permission from State Government for its implementation. The above-said scheme started in 1958 and in 1975 it had been amended with necessary changes.
Admission will be given in the Month of July of every year to those workers who have 2 years’ experience in the concerned field and should be recommended by his Employer.
What you will get Under Part Time evening classes in ITI
Under this scheme, workers will get complete trade training. It’s include theory, workshop calculation and science, and drawing. To check ITI training patterns and types click here. These centres are running on a part-time basis. Once you selected, you will get training as three hours per day for three days in a week. The total duration of the course is 1 or 2 years, and they have to appear for the Trade Test from Industrial Training Institute.
Once you pass the exam you will honour with certificates. In the beginning, each centre has 4 trades with a capacity of 20. Training cost spent after each trainee is Rs.10/-. The trainer is not recommended by a businessman. So, under this scheme, there is no reservation. The eligibility criteria are same as Industrial Training Institutes eligibility criteria.

There is no age limit for trades. Admission fee is not taken but the Rs.25/-per month is charged as training fee. Per head expenses from the government for trainees is Rs.1000/-.

Workers get extra trade knowledge and those who have passed the trade test have prosperous future in form of promotion or increment. All these extra courses are part time courses. So, staff allocated for the part-time course are part-time staff and has been given fixed allowances.
